IT Milano club and restaurant

The historic location, first home to the Magazzini Gondrand, then the headquarters of the Ferrè Group and now the Milan headquarters of the Kiton Group, hosts our new design proposal.

In the wake of the continuous research that characterised the concept and the creation of ITIbiza, ITMilano is born.

The challenge was to create a space with an entirely new concept. The study of the storyboard and its relative design allowed for an unprecedented result: an environment that can be lived in all day long, from lunch to an aperitif, from dinner to enjoying a good drink with excellent music.

Two entrances and eight hundred square metres on two levels overlooking the internal courtyard, open kitchen, 1960s design, three rooms with distinct functions.

At the entrance, past the hotel-style reception, there is the Bistrot with its elliptical bar where the seating is arranged around the perimeter, preserving its centrality and prominence.

The inner courtyard of the restaurant area is dominated by the open kitchen with curved windows. The 12-metre-high dining area is emphasised by wooden slats that wrap around the ceilings and walls and break through the large window overlooking the patio, creating continuity between inside and outside. The space also houses a fully glazed wine shop where the rich display of wines can be easily admired.

On the lower floor, protected by a large sound-proof glass wall, is the lounge room for after-dinner and private events.
